Well, I've reached the fabled wall of progression with the Bloodstone Champion for now. I'm at my limit in abilities when it comes to fixing and detailing certain regions of it. So, now it goes to the backburner along with all the other models like it and I consider what to do next.
I optimized several small Undead ships and got them in-game and working. They are simple models from around 2008. I didn't remodel them as, quite frankly, I forgot how I made them.
Here's renders of two of them from the old days.

They rarely exceed 1600 tris, which is good, because these teeny tiny 1km long Undead ships are practically free for the Undead to make. Hydras won't even cost fleet supply. Since upkeep is going bye-bye in the mod, except to see a lot of these cannon fodder. The Undead depend on these spammable ships to distract and close distances with long-ranged races. They also hurt. A lot.
More concerning is the Undead Alrashann battlecruiser. This ship is what would be around the same scale of the Kraken or Leviathan, but for the Undead it's an entry-level battlecruiser (Cruiser factory, second-gen tech)

I can't remember how this model came to be. It's probably a part of the 2008 string in the late quarter before I switched to max. The very original model, from 2002 or so, was basically a pair of Executors taped onto each other with horns. I attempted to capture that kind of a look but with the newer Undead style. It's a total, ugly failure.
Some parts of the model I like, such as the lower half, which I might cut off and try to retrieve for the next version.
The big feature of the Alrashann are its six Deimos vortex accelerators, which I slapped together with a trio of cones in the old model. They're going to have to look the part in the new one.
/e Okay, the Hydra is dated early 2007... these are older than I thought.
