Can't download Sins via Impulse.

Argghhhhhh

So I needed to reinstall sins, I loaded up Impulse and chose the install option beside sins of a solar empire

It says Preparing, downloading, then shows 0.0%

After a few minutes it then says "retrying..."

It's been doing that for the past hour or so

Is anyone else having problems with downloads?

I'd try rebooting Impulse. If that doesn't work, reboot the PC. If THAT doesn't work, listen to Kitkun and contact support@stardock.com. I'd be surprised if you get that far, but they're usually really good about helping.

another idea is assuming you have v***ta,
right mouse click on the impulse icon then click on properties,
then click on the compatibility tab,
then tick the 'run as administrator' tickbox,
then click ok,
then doubleclick on the impulse icon and try again.

Vista is not the problem, I was able to download sins + entrenchment (not to mention tons of other games off impulse) without a problem (using Vista 64 by the way).

that being said wouldn't hurt to try running as admin. when i install, before anything download UAC buts in to say it needs your permission to install the game, have you said ok to the window or disabled UAC?
