i'll bet this has already been found (there are too many posts and im too lazy to check them all), but just in case it wasnt:
i was playing in a campaign with a custom candidate (Blackie McNegro) and i had Schwarzenegger as my VP candidate. whenever you move your VP to a new state, you lose 1 stamina point for the flight but gain percentage points on the awareness scale. however, i soon found that by continuously picking up Schwarzenegger and flying him to a new spot (or even the same spot) in the same state, you dont lose any stamina but your awareness in that state continues to go up. if you have 13 or more stamina points, you can raise your national awareness to 100% in less than 4 turns when you get your VP. i have not yet tested this on other VP candidates or different candidate-Schwarzenegger mixes.
