Name: Anantsia
Demigod Specs: Ranged General, Darkness affliation.
Appearance: Consider this, With a more femanine (Spelling) face. Two large black eyes surrounded by six smaller ones, and the Arm/ Leg ratio is 2 two 6.
Strengths: Adept at manipulating combat, Elusive.
Weaknesses: Fragile, slow walk speed. (Roughly one step above The Rook.)
Like Queen of Thorns and Torch Bearer, The Matriarch has two stages, One for above the surface and the other for below.
Web Noose: The Matriarch uses a rope of her web and yanks the target toward her. Larger targets move slower.
Spawn Broodling: The Matriarch releases a scent of pheramones that hatches 1/2 children. Can control a Max of two at a time. (There is a reason she can only control two, even at max level)
Walking silk: The Matriarch begins spinning her webbing with her surplus legs, leaving a spot that will slow/immoblize those trapped for 2-3-4-5 seconds. Burns X mana with each step.
Burrow: The Matriarch and her children burrow beneath the ground. HP and Mana does not regenerate underground. All actions, excluding movement will excavate her.
Venom Bite: The Matriarch and any nearby children ambush the target, injecting a localized toxin that will "Pop" and do X damage after 10-8-5 seconds have passed.
Incubate/Progenerate: The Matriarch utilizes both her pheramones and the warmth of the earth to rapidly hatch 5-10-15 broodlings. Due to the abrupt nature of the birth, the premature broodlings will die shortly.
Death Trap: The Matriarch violently begins to disturb the earth beneath a wounded demigod, attempting to execute the target. If the target has less than 20-25-30% hp left, they're instantly buried and killed, if not, the trap fails and Anastia is left vulnerable.
Broodling ideas: Since she can only ever control 2 at max, the idea is for her Broodlings to grow overtime with each kill they and their mother scores. Eventually they will automatically grow and evolve into something much stronger. The premature broodlings are designed to be used more like Shock Troopers, just for when your team needs some extra meat.
Passive ideas:
A Passive to increase the duration/ length of her web based spells.
A passive to increase the evolution speed and lifespan of her two broodlings.
A passive that increases the potency and chance of success for her trap skills.
A Synergy for Web, A Poison damage for Walking slik and a stun for Web Noose.
Thats about it. My idea is that with her there are two-three play styles.
You can use her web to set-up kills for team mates.
You can use her traps to pick off the wounded,
And you can use her minions to serve as your meat shield and killing power.
Odds are this won't happen since her personality would more likely be too similar to QoT, but it's nice to dream.
