TEC Starbases invisible in SOSE:E 1.02 (after patch)

Hi All,

After installing the last patch for Entrenchment, my TEC starbases are invisible. When the firgate moves to the creation point, I get a brief flash of the outline of the base and it's icon appear in the side list. I can build the modules etc but the starbase itself is invisible. From what I can see, the SB works fine, you just can't see it. I didnt know the TEC race had cloaking technology..........

I thought it might be a corrupt "StarBase Tech.entity file" but I cannot find another copy of it to install and test out.

Anyone else noticed this, or have any suggestions?

I have played TEC alot and haven't had any problems with invisible starbases. I have noticed that entrenchment is a major resource hog for CPU usage where as original sins was not. I have noticed in big games 3 hard computer players or more that if you scroll into a asteroid belt that you already sent a scout through but the scout is no longer there the resource mines are invisible. If you send the scout to the asteriod belt after about 15 seconds after the scout arives the mines will apear out of no where.

Thank you for replying Rhah, I finally gave in and reinstalled everything and my Starbases are back. I must have stuffed something up during the last install I did.
