Currently, you can edit custom candidates that you make in TPM, but you can't change any of the prexisting candidates that come with the game, like Obama, McCain, Palin, etc.  I'd like to tinker around with their issues and statistics (especially for some of these candidates that don't even have stances on issues) but currently, that option is grayed-out.  This is particularly egredious for McCain and Obama, who both have very weird policy stances which extend beyond the normal maximums for candidates (I believe its a holdover from when candidate stances replaced party stances, and quite frankly I'm suprised after all these months it hasn't been fixed).  Is there any way to toggle something in the game files so that those candidates are able to be edited?  I'd really like to play some more games with Obama and McCain, but right now their issue stances are so out of whack it really discourages me from using them.
