Everything about your Stardock account is centered around the e-mail address. If you purchase the expansion, and use a different e-mail than your SD account, it creates a 'new' account that is 'disconnected' from your original account. If this happens, e-mail us at support@stardock.com and we can merge the accounts back into one, under the e-mail that you direct us to use. This situation happens most often if one uses PayPal, or someones elase CC that may have an e-mail tied to it.
