This is to make more use of capital shipyard and give more expasion, defense and invasion maneuvering option for future games. This is for all races. Main purpose is divide capital ship to fasten up the early game colonization and more easy 2nd force organization by making them core of 2nd force.
To achieve above, make a new class of ship and lets name it for instance "Warliner" at visual size of 45~65% of average capital ship using 25 supply and 0.5 capital ship point. Cost of around 55~60% of capital. All with quicker level up and one or two special ability.
NOTE:Cost & supply wise, 2 "warliner" should beat one capital(given always one "battle ship")

1. High Speed Battle Ship. -JumpInhibitor Proof(like scout)& cloaking /// Role:Quick response and Fail proof scouting
2. Enforcer Bombardment Ship. -JumpInhibitor Proof/// Role:Raider against poorly defended planets.
3. Battle Ship. -Stop enemy culture propagation as well as one capital does. ///Role:Core of 2nd or divergent forces.
4. Utility Ship. -Depending on race, selection of special ability. ///Role: Quick add to force lacking support cap.
5. Corvette Carrier. -Heavy Fighter-Bomber Host. 2~4 squads//Corvette Attack type: MiniComposite=Effective against light, medium and heavy armor. //Corvette Armor type: medium // Corvettes have little bad odds against fighter and better odds against strike craft.//LRF has low chance to hit corvettes. ///Role: Safely and cost effectively fight off cloud of frigates.
Just few idea to try to make game more deep.
Stick two "warliners" to beat one capital but makes expansion slower.
Diverge 2 "warliners" to accelerate colonization.... I believe there will be more choices.
