hmmm... i will have to try it, but i think when you scuttle a ship, you get back a portion of what you spent, the slot count im not sure about. But will let you know.

Take note, however, that scuttling too many labs will prevent you from building certain ships and structures. For instance, if you scuttle all but 4 Military/Hostility/Warfare labs, you lose the ability to construct heavy cruisers and the tier 5 support ships.

That's good to know. Thanks. I was thinking "scuttling" applied only to ships when I read the keyboard commands, but it turns out Alt+H applies to buildings as well.
