Computer Crashes

When I try to start the game,I can pick my candidate,the US map shows,and then my laptop goes to an error screen,and restarts. I tried the game on a regular PC and it worked without a hitch..Any help?

Hey Josh,

In order to help you the most, we'll need to see the contents of a file that the game creates everytime it is run. It's called "debug.err" and is located at "....documents/my games/PolMachine2008/". Just open it with notepad and paste the entire contents in your reply. This file will have game messages as well as machine specs we can use to track down your problem.

Also, it may help if you make the computer not automatically restart after a bluescreen.

Right click my computer->properties->Advanced->Startup and recovery.
Click the settings button under 'Startup and recovery'.

Uncheck Automatically restart.

Under Write debugging information, change the drop down box to small memory dump.

The mindump files are saved by default to c:\windows\minidump. We might need you to send in the minidump depending on where the error is occurring.
