How to jump to another star system

Hey guys

I know that this question has been asked before and most likely more then once, however I have made my way up to multiple star systems and now it is time to make that big jump to the other star system, I am playing as the Tec?

Research the Lvl 3 ability, move ships to the star and then click on the other star to move them (just like moving them to another planet).

lvl 3 Civil Tech for long range jumps. Also put ypur scout frigates on auto explore. Best way to get information while worrying about other things.

So, are you saying that to get to another star system all I would have to do is research up to lvl 3 and go to my own sun first and from there click on the other star system's sun? Oh wow! what an totally logical way to jump to an unknown star system, using the massive gravity well of a star to connect to another massive gravity well light years away!!

As I said before in another post on this topic, you do need to be careful with this.
If you get it wrong, you end up in San Franciso in the mid 1980's and the only way to get back is if "There be whales here"!!!
