Do I Need To Update

do I need to update anything before I install the political machine CD rom to my computer. I have a dell dimension 3000 05/06 model. How long will it take for the game to get to my house, I ordered it tuesday & I know I can download it but Im waiting for the game to get here.

I generally suggest updating your video drivers just to be safe.

I too have a Dimenion 3000 (mine has a ATI card) and I had to update the video drivers to get the proper performance.  If you have the 3000 with the nVidia 6800 in it, you will probably want to run the game without anti-aliasing.

I just ordered the digital version, but it did not install on my computer.  Is this one of those things where I have to wait to see if my credit card is good or did I do something wrong?  Perhaps it's on my computer but I just don't see it. 

Helph me.

Kaeman, you don't have to post the same question in multiple threads in order for us to see it.

As your confirmation email probably states, you can use Impulse to download the game.
