Hi guys,

This post is mainly directed to (I don't want to say "at") the composer of music for SoaSE, and perhaps others who might have noticed this.

After having downloaded the demo, going through the tutorials, and playing the game, I noticed that some of the music for "peace", one track in particular, had a chord progression that was remarkably similar - identical, in fact, for at least the first six broken chords  - to a similar music track found back in MOO2.

Of course, it should be unreasonable to expect that a progression containing descending chromatics from the tonic to the dominant is copyrighted to its first user; I don't mean to attack or proclaim plagiarism, since composers copy stuff all the time I just want to know whether or not this music track was inspired/affected by MOO2 - I'm just interested

It's also possible, and likely, that this track was composed independently though - like I said, I'm just interested in how the composer came up with his music, which I happen to enjoy tremendously.

And on a side note, I might add that though I was confident I'd buy this game before, after downloading the demo I realized this is probably what I've been looking for for years.
