I'm not sure what your technology looks like on your end, but it would be really cool if you could merge IRC and ICO together.  Obviously accounts are handled in a completely different manner on IRC and people can use any name so that needs to be addressed.  One way to get around this would be to prefix and color code names with IRC/ICO.  Since ICO has multiple chat rooms, IRC users could be limited to one certain Lobby channel.

Not only is this nice because it allows you to consolidate the chat, but it allows people to access the chat from any computer even if you're not able to play that moment.
