Question about specialized ship abilities.

If you have a fleet of ships and direct them all to attack a specific enemy, will the robotic ships still use their repair abilities on friendly ships or will they just be using their regular weapons? If so, the solution would be to make the specialized ships into their own fleet and just tell them to attack the general area and they will use all of their abilities?

If you have your ships in a Fleet, support ships will not obey attack orders if a mix of ships is selected, they will focus on their support abilities instead.

So if you have a fleet with cobalts, lrms, and hoshikos, selecting all of them and clicking to attack will get the cobalts and lrms to attack, while the hoshikos will stay behind and repair. If you have only your support ships selected, they will obey the attack order so you can force it if you really wish to.

This only works for Fleets, not generic control groups.
