Hello Everyone.  My friend and I just picked this game up this week and are enjoying it quite a lot.  Last evening we played a game that was set up with him and I on a team against one computer player.  We're just learning so this was a good game for us.  We ended up eventually winning even  .

My question has to do with the Pirates.  We eventually found a planet very close to the one star on our map that seemed to be the pirate planet.  If and when we take over thisw planet, does that stop the Pirates from spawning and/or attacking our planets?
