Sins of a Solar Empire was an alright game when i first played it, but now im working out the kinks and im actually able to beat easy a day after i got it so now Sins is actually a good, addicting game. I mean, its a helluva time killer, espicially when im bored. The requirements arent that of a computer you would probably find in NASA (Im looking at you, Supreme Commander) Im running all the effects on its highest and everything turned on, a feat i find impossible in a game like World in Conflict. (That game is preety awesome though, you should pick it up and try the demo or something) Its an easy to learn game. The downside is it might kill TOO MUCH time. I mean it took 5 hours for me to beat easy! i migh be a little faster though. But yeah its a preety good game of the dying space genre (or growing, can't tell) So theres my opinon about SoaSE. Not alot i know but sometimes im a ma of few words... though this post migh contradict that...
Let me tell you about my second game. Ok i was playing TEC against the Advent, i was sitting in my homeworld because i was kind of afraid to venture beyond, end up colonizing two things, a rock (asteroid) and volcanic planet. Things were going smoothly for a few minutes until the Advent comes in with a fleet the size of Gods great oceans put together to beat me off of a little rock which i find disturbing. Then i had to fend off pirates attacking me home world, almost got killed (Noobish, i know, but it was my second game) so i had to fall back and assemble a fleet to retake a rock, then i fly over there and i was lookin kinda good until the pirates attacked again! So i went back to the HW to defend and you know what happened? The pirates attacked my VOLCANINC world, so i lost a lot of ships in retreating for nothing, and the fleet comes in and blows my planet to dust...haha
