Geez.
Installed, got the "Failed to initialize display" error, ran through the steps in the thread addressing this issue. Then the game just chugged along very, very slowly and would crash when I tried to start a new game. Patched up and it sped up but still is crashing. Now it's back to the wonderful "Failed to initialize display" error.
Pretty shoddy if you ask me, it's not like this is Doom 3 or anything, my gosh.
I'm a computer programmer so I've probably tried everything you're going to tell me I should try.
I want my money back, I'm going to the store now.
