Here's an almost unbeatabloe strategy for winning. Spend the first 23 weeks going around the country building 3rd level headquarters in all the big states and swing statest that you need to win. It takes a lot of money so you'll need to do a lot of fund-raising and pick a VP with lots of money. By week 23 your should be able to have 9 or 10 3rd level H.Q.'s bringing you about $900,000 a week. Don't even worry about the polls, don't give speeches and don't buy ads. When you run out of money though, use your stamina to give you political endorsements. After week 23 or so, when you have lots of 3rd level HQ's, put a webmaster in a key swing state, and use your weekly flow of money to unleash a killer T.V. advertising campaign. Your opponent won't be able to keep up with your spending. You'll start winning early on in the game, but start losing around week 15, but your ads should be able to turn that around before week 30. Consider taking a week off from ads to give speeches or raise funds while your weekly contributions build your warchest. I've done almost the whole Republican campaign using this strategy. You should end up spending over $30 mil by the end of the campaign.
