This has only happened to me once, but I fear it might happen again so I will ask about it here.
When I got into the game with a friend online the game started lagging. It took a few seconds after a click for the game to respond to my commands. I figured this was standard lag as my friend is on a 56k but then it got worse to the point where it took up to a few minutes for the game to do anything. Even clicking end turn took forever to replenish the stamina and continue.
At a certain point it got even worse and I had to End Task on the game. My friend reported that he didn't have any problems, except the lag. During the game also chat messages took forever to get through. Messages sent to me would not arrive till literally 2 or 3 minutes later.
I have no clue what happened. I was playing as George W Bush and he was playing as Fidel Castro (he made the character). Perhaps that might have something to do with it, I don't know. Or it could've been an isolated incident but I am posting it here just to be on the safe side.
Anyway, has this happened to anyone else?
