Hello all just a little update for all following the mod.  The asurans now have 2 new ships ingame .  The asuran destroyer, and the asuran scout. We also have several other models that will be put ingame in the next few days stay tunned for more info

Hello everyone,

 

Just wanted to drop in and show off some of the Asuran pictures that were recently taken by EOmega. 

 

The first two are of the jumper and bomber squadrons for the Asurans, the third is of a lone Aurora under attack, and the fourth... well the fourth speaks for itself.  Enjoy.

Nice! Just one question: If the 4th is a Stargate like i think it is, will it be that fat in game?

she only looks fat due to the angle of the picture.  she is scaled correctly, and if it looks fat, it might just be the angle.

actualy i think you have the entire thing confused as the thing that  makes it look fat is not the stargate in fact it is the replicator satilite with a stargate in the middle. it is scaled right

 

 

also i know u guys are doing your best and as fast as you can but i have been watching scince the begining and how much longer is this gonna take. because i also was watching the last stand mod be made scince the begining and i have to say he is alone and yet he is almost done plus he has amazing modles and ships he designed himself.

if you guys need a texturist try asking dolynick and i will see if one of my freinds would like to try. if you can, try to at least release the tauri wraith for now and the rest later.

Yes we are in search of a full time texture artist. To our knowledge dolynick has his hands full with his own mod. If you would like to texture for us or know someone who does please have them contact jtaylorpcs@live.com

For awhile there I was alone myself.  Our team has real life issues that obviously take precedence, which is why the mod hasnt been completed yet.  There is a lot of work for one man to handle, and my hat goes off to LSM.  Personally, I think that a mod is like a fine wine, the longer it takes to develop, the better it is going to taste in the end.

I think both Eomega and Lockerd both have a point, and as much as i would LOVE to play THIS AWESOME MOD I must argee that the longer a mod is under development the better it usually gets..

a good example would be Stargate: Empire at War (a Stargate mod I play while waiting for this one to be released) or Fleetops (a trek mod) have been in development for years(!) and are still getting better and better

as I have mentioned before I would very much like to help and supply my collection of HQ Stargate episodes to pick sound effects or assist with some light c/c++ coding (if that would be of any help at all – as I know nothing of sins specific coding)

I am just thinking out loud here. You do realize that everyone's expectations will be very high ,because it takes quite a while. I like to read all the technical stuff here( me  science fiction freak. ) and models are great. GOD DAMIT , I WANT MY GOD DAM STARGATE!!! BTW anyone else know any other stargate/battlestar galactica mods? Both are my favorite shows.

We do realize this, and we are going to put our best effort into making the mod perfect.  And so far, I believe that we have succeeded in that field.

Afternoon all,

Well we have all been very busy in the last few months and I have managed to take alittle time this week and update the spreadsheet on where we are up to.

All of the Tau'ri ships meshes have been completed and are all in game and working, textures still need to be done on some.

Frigates

hey guys, I just wanted to drop in to show you all the new Atlantis that I have built for the mod.  She weighs in at 9886 polies, and considering how much detail I have added, I think that is an acceptable count for her.  Enjoy.
