Yeah I guess I made them sound like fodder which they aren't by any means but I don't think they were unstoppable or anything.  Were there any evidence throughout SGA that any Ancient warship was ever taken out by a Wraith Hive?  I thought they won because of their superior numbers as opposed to superior technology. 

Just thinking along these lines here, the Ancients > Wraith in tech Wraith > Ancients in numbers and the willingness to fight.  Asgard = Ancients in shield tech and maybe weapons when you factor in the plasma beams they gave to SG-1 before they commited suicide and what they could do to Ori shield tech which should definately be on par with Ancient shield tech, and let's not forget how effective the plasma beams were against Wraith Hives.  Anubis' mothership with Ancient tech took out the Asgard or at least to a stand still resulting in Earth standing alone when Anubis finally came calling. 

Just saying, if we can believe that the Asgard were in the ballpark as far as warships/shield/weapons tech with the Ancients, Anubis could stand toe to toe with the Asgard and the Ancients never lost a battle due to inferior tech but inferior numbers and an unwillingness to continue the fight then there should not be a balance issue when combining part 1 and 2 of the mod.  I feel pretty confident that Anubis could actually stand toe to toe with the Wraith in space battles because 1) The Goa'uld as a whole do not lack the willingess to fight and 2) The Goa'uld don't lack the numbers.  Don't really believe a balance issuse would arise from having all these races in he same mod together.  What would the Wraith do with Anubis' super soldiers anyways?  Could they have sapped the life from them... what about the Jaffa, having the symbiote there leaves all sorts of questions as to how they would react to a Wraith feeding on them. 

Just thinking out loud I guess.

@ J808 - Just wanted to say stop comparing the Asgard to the Ancients, its true the Asgard have been studying the Ancient database to uncover new technologies. But point out to me an Ancient ship which used Asgard Beam Weapons? They invented that themselves, and no Asgard vessle ever used drones ... just because they were studying the Ancient database, doesn't mean they would stop inventing things for themselves and think that those inventions might infact be better or an improvement on the Ancient Technology.

Everyone has to consider that the other races (now that the Ancients are no longer updating there technology base) may surpass or excel in areas of Technology the Ancients did not. Wraith = regeneration, Asgard = Plasma, Humans = Hyperdrive (just a thought). I would have loved to see a Major war play out in SGA too, where every one of the major factions, including Goa'uld & Ori were included in a major battle.

I fully support your idea to have all the races in a Mod, including free jafa, lucien alliance, replicators etc, I had the same thought concerning the symbiotes also, would the be able to take control of a Queen wraith perhaps?

On a side note, congratulations to the Team for all there hard work. I am sure there is still some way to go yet, and I know everyone appreciates the amount of hard work and effort put into this new upcoming Mod. So a big well done!

Nah I got the email saying I wasn't selected, it's all good.  Just wanted to congratulate those that got in and hoping everything goes smoothly in general to get a speedy release for everyone else!
