Want to give a thread of appreciation

WASAAAP...

I bought the game the other day, and I gotta say first and foremost...

W00000000H0000000000

This game ROCKS. I enjoy it. In fact I just got done with a 3 hour game. We (our team) had over 300 ships in one sector when we were all going to jump and attack someone else. It was cool...cool cool cool...

I wanna give a shout out to all the people involved in getting this game up and running. I'm sure its a lot of them, but I just want to say THANK YOU

Now, I do have the Nvidia video card reset bug, but I'm sure that'll be fixed, I'm not worried about it.

This game engine rocks too. I like being able to change all of the settings inside of it through a config file. Very versatile it seems. I also can't WAIT for the Star Wars/Star Trek/Babylon 5/X3 The Reunion mods that will probably work their way out one day. It seems this is the perfect engine for them.

Either way, yalls rock...and keep it up...

Yeh Ironclad and stardock have done one helluva game. It's so polished and just damn fun.
one thing i have to stress and havn't seen it anywhere on the forums (atleast to my lazy eyes). Someone deffinitely knows their space opera, theyve nailed it perfectly and the poin i want to stress is the MUSIC! holy crap, its not just great space opera music but they nailed the mood music system perfectly, from the built up ominous music of a fleet powering their phase drives to the orchestral boom when they come out of hyperspace in a heavily fortified enemy fortress world to the desperate last defense of a team's homeworld.. I don't recall such an emotionally charged musical system since xwing alliance.. well done indeed guys. too often the music gets neglecte in games as a side dish, but nothing serves to power the emotions in such a fine experience. so in a nutshell : woo hoo Ironclad and stardock =P
