At first I found the bombers to be a little underwhelming, so I decided to get a few more carriers together before letting them be.

It is a thing of beauty to see four hundred odd bombers open fire on a capital ship at the same time. A large group of carriers may be somewhat vulnerable, but there is something to be said for an attack force that can sweep the grav well clear of all defenses in the time it would take a group of heavy hitters to reach the planet.
