So with the tutorial not working, i have tried several games of trying to bodge my way though, but im getting slaughtered very quickly, i really dont know what im doing and feel the learning curve is way high at the moment.

Is there any posts that help explain the game, i bough this wanting to play online, but at the moment struggling to figure anything out vs the AI who just wipes the floor with me in record time!

I figured out how to mine the metal asteroid things, but can i expand to more worlds? how does tech work? I can survive normally until some pirates come and wipe me out, but what are they? and why do they hit me? Some ships seem to have special effects that just annihilate my fleets, even my fleet is much bigger. I see some ships seem to warp in, with little blak hole kinda things, how do i do that?
