Be happy you have planet textures , on my old card.. Geforce 4600, all the planets are transparent..about 70%.
The rest of the game however looks and runs just fine..which was surprising.
I get horrible loading lag for a minute or two when I enter my first game, then the game runs smooth after that...good job on the scaling!
It runs so well on my old system I think you can bump up those minimum specs.
