Bugs in beta 0.7(b)

Maybe it's helpful to devs if we post observed bugs in one thread...

After two incomplete games:
Hardware related(?):
-I too have sound problems. Just strange clipping and cracking. I have directx 9.0, soundcard is SoundMAX Intregrated Digital
Audio integrated in my Asus p4p800 mainboard. I'm using winXP. Is dxdiag output useful to you?
Game:
-New Jersey state state doesn't show up (zoomed) in the map until my rival has visited there
-I hired an operative and she showed up stacked with opponents HQ so I couldn't select her no matter
how hard I tried.
-My last game ended when I pressed some button and suddenly whole screen was blue with just borders between
states visible. I had to ctrl-alt-del out.

The second point in my last message (small state not showing up zoomed) isn't apparently a bug but a feature: east coast small states show up zoomed when somebody has visited and built something in it. I just finished one game on simple an won Bush clearly

I found out couple of new bugs:
-The opponent started to move off-map in some point. He visited different states but the icon was in wrong place.
-In hire operative window, PR man is named Webmaster, so there is two webmasters in the list , but description
for the another was for PR man.

I noticed the strangely-moving opponent too on several occasions. Sometimes he'll start flying around in all sorts of crazy directions and will appear to be magnified and will be misplaced with respect to where he actually is (even off of the screen on several occasions). Perhaps there's a bug in the way the opponent's icon gets moved, because I've never seen it happen with any other units.

sound problems - Yeah, seems several people are getting that 'popping' with their music. We'll look into it further.

operative selection problems - You can cycle through your activists and operatives with the O or TAB key to select them when this happens. We definatly need smarter clicking meathods on the map, though.

whole screen blue - hehe Sounds like the 'wireframe mode'..we'll have to make that a Debug build only option.

opponent moving off the map / wacky airplane actions - Yes, this is a problem with the airplane animation getting stopped in mid flight and used elsewhere. Will be fixed soon.

PR man = Webmaster - That should be easy to fix.
