Multiplayer possibilities, Useful in the classroom?

I am a high school history teacher. I see great potential in useing the game in the classroom. Is it possible to create and run several candidates? Will it be possible to break a class into groups and assign them to develop and run a platform for each party candidate? Looking forward to this game, as a teacher and a gamer.

Yeah, we're definatly hoping the game will find its way into the hands of students eventually.

I remember playing "Where in the World is Carmen Sandeigo" and "The Oregon Trail", and while I spent more time writing silly sayings on tombstones with the later, the "Where in the World" series had me hooked for years, and certainly taught me about bother geography and culture throughtout the world.

I imagine multiplayer being used with groups of students, where 5 kids would be in charge of one candidate, another 5 in charge of the other, and both would have to work together to snag their candidate the presidency. Both my Brother in Law (a fith grade teacher) and my co-worker's wife (also an Elementary school teacher) have expressed similar hopes for the game to be used for educational purposes. If there's enough interest, I'm sure an educational version would be a worth-while project!
